Sarah Climenhaga came up with the brilliant idea of having a swim event to launch our petition and the weather was fantastic today and we had about 100 people come to the beach today and we've got more than 1000 signatures now.
We still have a lot of work to do to get to 2000 signatures which is the point at which news organizations will pay attention to us.
A big thank-you to everyone who's helped so far spread the word.
