2:30pm Today = Sunday: Firepit SwimOP = Swim at OP (Ontario Place) ...
A large number of us are meeting at the Firepit today, including some of the musicians and performers from the live music festival as well as some other new members. See attached map showing distances along swim route.
It would be fun to get a group shot showing lots of people swimming at Trillium Park. Maybe we can do a group shot at each of the 5 stops along the swim route to help promote lake swimming and help promote the need for safe access once Trillium Park is closed, e.g. the need to create an alternative temporary spot while construction is underway since making a bridge to Trillium is part of the plans which will require closing it for some period of time. Safety first: Don't jump unless you have professional training and carefully analyzed layout of rocks, etc..
Never swim alone.
Always wear a towfloat. Notice in some of these pictures how hard it is to see the swimmer, e.g. often the towfloat is all that you can see.
