We had a wonderful swim today:
Water temp around 2 deg. C, warmer than the air temp around 0 deg. C, needed to build a big bonfire to warm up afterwards (and had some BBQ squash). Rocks were covered in ice so we had to find a new place to safely get in and out of the water, since our taxpayer dollars are going toward chopping down 1500 mature trees and creating a $2.2 billion subsidy to an almost bankrupt foreign corporation taking over our public waterfront, leaving is with less easy safe water access.
